Edit . Towards David's response. They painted My ceiling the wrong color after you didn't install lights properly. I had to call other contractors in to fix it. The contract you offered didn't cover the expenses for the poor job that you did and it also stated i can't talk about my experience with anyone. Your business caused extensive damage to my home. An offer of a few hundred dollars for me not to share my experience isn't doing proper business. Check out section 5.2 in the contact he sent. Images are below .You can also clearly see the different ceiling paint color you used on my ceiling.I feel greatly taken advantage of. I am a small business supporter and your company was the worst I have ever dealt with. I am still dealing with your faulty work. You are more then welcome to reach out to pay for your faulty work and I will in return take down my honest review like you asked me to but I will tell friends and family and show them my bills and your faulty work that you have made. My experience with carpet decor working with Davids company was awful. His company was hired to install lighting redo a bathroom and do some flooring. When I noticed his crew wasn't treating my home properly I immediately notified him and he got defensive saying it didn't matter because he was giving us such a great deal he was losing money . Which was very unprofessional in my opinion. His company was hired to install a shower that was smaller then what we discussed they gashed my hard wood installed the shower door backwards damaged my baseboards, repainted the ceiling with trim paint and scuffed up freshly painted walls they also incorrectly installed a light dimmer so when you push it up it gets dark and down makes it bright. We have David's company the opportunity to fix the issue and they failed to do so. I would like to add that the lighting they installed failed and I had to hire an electrician to come out today who said the wiring David's company installed was faulty and I had to pay to have the lighting wires redone. I would like to add an addendum to this post that I just had a massive leak in my ceiling due to faulty plumbing from the bathroom David's company reinstalled. I hired a plumber who said they installed the toilet incorrectly which caused major damage. I contacted David to pay me back for this and the electric bill from his companies faulty work and so far he has not responded. Hopefully I can post back that he does and he makes right on his companies mistakes. As I was writing another review I realized I never followed up on this one. Unfortunately I can't report back any good business practices in my opinion. He sent me a shady written contract for me to take down this review and not to talk about his bad service to ANYONE else for a few hundred dollars back. I declined I would be more then happy to take down the review for a refund but I will still verbally not recommend him to friends and family.

Carpet Decor was used to update the floors for two levels of our home with very high quality LVP and carpet, as well as sanding/staining two staircases and sanding/paining the railings as well. Overall very satisfied with the quality of the work done and everyone who has visited since has commented on how much they love the updates made. Dawoud / David is highly trustworthy and very professional. Would definitely use again in the future and highly recommend for others as well.

David made sure we stayed within our budget and advised us well on what NOT to do, in order to sell. David and his team did an outstanding job painting the entire house, dry wall work, power washing caulking and grouting and so much more oh and most importantly... new carpet! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. All of this for a very affordable price and attention to detail. By the way... The house sold before it went on the market

I recently hired David/his crew to install wood flooring on my stairs. I have to admit, the job was done flawlessly. David made sure the job gets done right away. David is an honest man, he tells you the ins and outs of the project that you want to get done. The prices are very reasonable and just working with David is very pleasant. He makes you feel very comfortable, answers all the questions, doesn't rush you and doesn't make you feel like you're dealing with a salesperson!! I could not be happier with the phenomenal work Carpet Decor did on my custom hardwood flooring job! I shopped for flooring for MONTHS and couldn't fine what I liked anywhere. Eventually I knew I would need to have custom hardwood floors done for the results I wanted. So I shopped for custom floors for another few months and couldn't believe how outrageous the prices were and how few businesses did the complete job. Not only did Carpet Decor have the best prices (compared to lumber liquidators, Home Depot, lowes, other private companies, etc.) but they did everything start to finish: measurements, estimate, material, moving large furniture, demo, labor, stain/finish, and cleanup. And it was that much simpler and comforting having one person to deal with the entirety of the job. David was great, checked in frequently on his crews and the job, and was very easy to reach and communicate with. The flooring crews were also phenomenal to deal with. They were trustworthy, thorough, and a pleasure to have in my home.

I would highly recommend Carpet Decor for any and all home improvements. They provide many more services than their name implies and I'm already scheduling another job to have my stairs done, custom butcher block countertops, railing and banister replacements.

He came in with the best estimate to do everything including doing additional work that he didn't charge me for. He was very professional and the guys who did the work did a very nice job.
