I've dined here several times, and the experience has always been exceptional. The service is impeccable across the board – from the bar to the host and servers – everyone is professional, warm, and attentive without being intrusive. Whether I've come with my kids or groups of friends, the atmosphere is always relaxed yet engaging. The food is consistently excellent, though I will note that the steak aged in cheese doesn’t quite live up to the hefty price tag – it’s underwhelming compared to the rest of the menu. The wine list is impressive, offering a great selection to complement the meal. If you're making a reservation, I highly recommend requesting a table upstairs in the main room for a more elevated dining experience.

Came here for my birthday dinner at the beginning of August and the service was fantastic. Spent a little over $500 here, for pretty good food, I just don't think anything was necessarily mind-blowing. Also, the severe lack of parking when I came here on a Thursday night made us a bit late for our reservation, but thankfully they were still able to accomodate us.

The biggest complaint I had was for the 45 oz Porterhouse steak which was not cooked well-done as ordered. I know it's not the easiest to cook a large steak like that completely evenly, but I noticed that it was mostly medium rare. Since it was a steak that a few people were sharing, I personally didn't mind it being underdone, as I typically get my steaks medium, but my uncle who wanted it well-done was only able to eat the very ends which were cooked thoroughly. I also just don't feel like it was very flavorful to be completely honest.

I also genuinely don't feel like the mozzarella sticks with caviar are worth a try as others have stated. It's like the most normal mozzarella stick you can ever have in your life with just a bit of caviar. I thought it was pretty good, I just don't know if I could ever love caviar enough to spend $16 on a single mozzarella stick ever again.

But other than the issues with the steak, I enjoyed everything else a lot. Ordered pretty much all of the sides and the dessert which also fantastic. Worth coming here just for the 17-layer chocolate cake. And as I stated before, the service was really good. They brought out the desserts with candles, but they blew out super quickly because of the wind and they also had special menus that said "Happy Birthday" at the top which I took home and still have with me. We were also there til almost closing time and they were pretty understanding and just let us know that the bar was closing if we wanted any additional drinks, but did not make us feel rushed or anything. Obviously, the prices here aren't necessarily "affordable", but it's definitely not meant to be and I think that's okay because you're paying for an elevated dining experience and a pretty unique atmosphere/view.

Overall, I had a great experience here and I would definitely come back, but would certainly try some other menu items and order a smaller steak for one.

My family (group of 4)came to Carne Mare to celebrate my birthday early. Nice restaurant, with very friendly staff.
We enjoyed the dish we ordered. Also, the garlic bread is, the best garlic bread ever!
We got:
1. Jumbo gulf shrimp, fresh, bouncy
2. Mozzarella sticks and caviar, I think this one you must order!!!
3. Wagyu beef Tartare came with paper bread, enough to share. Wagyu the taste never let you down.
4. The Spanish Octopus was very good, I ate it with paper bread too!
5. Roasted Maine Sea Scallops, my favorite of all the dishes, creamy, scallops tender, perfect!
6. The last and best one Carne Mare King Cut steak (limited availability) 10/10, worth every penny! My family enjoyed the king-cut steak!

I got birthday ice cream from a restaurant, dessert we shared 17 layers of chocolate cake, yeah, we counted, haha

Overall, we had a good time here, food were amazing, service was great! Can't wait to come back!

We visited for a birthday celebration, and the staff really went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable. The space strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with a sweeping Seaport view through the windows that add a coastal charm. The service was sweet and considerate, which made the meal feel even more special.

The food was equally satisfying - from appetizers like the beef tartare to main courses like the prime ribeye and French toast, every dish delivered on both flavor and presentation.

I went Carne Mare with my husband for our Anniversary. All the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Just one thing my husband and I agreed on was, the steak plate was little cold. It was warm, not hot. So whoever going to order a steak, I would recommend order the steak cook more than Medium with small portions. Overall, it was joyful experience!

++++ we went again for Mother’s Day and this time the stake plate was HOT!!! I felt they care about the customers feedback. Carne Mare conquered the beyond expectations!
