Spent 3 nights here in a very modern caravan by reception. The site is well maintained and there is a beautiful loch to walk around. Very tranquil although there is a railway line very close by. We did get used to the noise however. It’s a short drive to Moffat and nice walks round about. We had a drink in the on-site restaurant which is open at weekends. Was a bit chilly to stay very long though. |The staff onsite were all very friendly and efficient. ||The caravan felt very new with a nice balcony. It was modern and very clean and very well kitted out. The only downside was the soft mattresses in the bedrooms, no rails in the bathroom for towels and no side lights anywhere. All easily fixable. |Overall, a very nice stay!!

Just back from a lovely stay, very peaceful with nice walks around the loch and woodlands. 5 mins walk from a dog friendly pub and excellent base for travelling further afield. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, hats off to Marie she is brilliant and so helpful, she is an asset to the team. We also met trainee harry who was also very helpful. We will be back!

Lovely quiet caravan park with beautiful surroundings. Lots of places to take the kids within driving distance and not too far to go to get a supermarket. ||I was sceptical initally as the caravan was so cheap but it was spotless and had everything we needed. ||The staff were lovely.|| It was unfortunate that the park was closed for refurbishment when we were there but we have just booked to come back in October so the kids are looking forward to seeing it all finished.

I booked 4 nights here on the understanding it was pet friendly took my money only to message me to tell me it’s extra for pets when I|Phoned to get pet friendly they had none even though they advertise as being pet friendly the holiday heroe I got on the phone could be doing with some customer service training his attitude was terrible I’ve now lost all my|Money that I work hard for will book any of there parks please read the small print before booking I wish I had so angry about this

We booked 3 caravans for 4 nights. One of the caravan was not locked (main door was open) when we first arrived. The lock on the toilet door is broken- no privacy to shower or in using the toilet. The frames of the main door is broken. There is a leak in the shower. We tried to ring the out of hours number as we arrived after the out of hours but nobody answered the call. Not happy with the booking overall.

£7 per person per night. Showers included. Cannot ask for better service for that price. Really nice walk round the lake too. Yeah there is some road noise and occasionally a train noise but its not that bad and the views are amazing. Great service too, washed our dishes with their dishwasher because the place to wash up wasnt operational.

The only thing id say is please get on top of your rhodedendron. Its absolutely terrible for nature and will take over your woodlands and gardens round the lake. Needs to be stem injected. But thats just coming from a nature nut
