This place is awesome. Robert and Vivian’s customer service is by far the ultimate best. I needed some tuxedo pants and he looked at me and brought my size and they were a perfect fit. They are the sweetest people. I recommend this tuxedo store to everyone in need of a nice tuxedo. Great quality and prices. Not a fancy boutique but great,none the less. Thank you

Robert and Vivian were great. From the second I walked in, they practically already had the perfect suit jacket and pants picked out. They were extremely friendly and approachable, and overall a phenomenal experience. In addition, it was extremely affordable and looks great. I will definitely be coming back if I need another jacket, and I would recommend checking them out if you are in need of a suit in the city!

Thank you to Rob and the lady that was there. I forget her name. came in to get a tux for my daughter‘s wedding. It was an awesome experience, was in and out in about 40 minutes. They sent me to a place up the block to get the alterations, which only took about 15 minutes, awesome experience will definitely be back. Got two more daughters that are getting married. One day

I wish I could give this business 6 stars! The owners, a wonderful couple, were incredibly helpful in finding me a black suit jacket and white shirt. They took their time to ensure I found the perfect fit, and I left with a suit that feels tailor-made for me. Their attention to detail and customer care made it an outstanding experience. I highly recommend getting your next suit from them. 10/10 experience!

This business checks off all the boxes and then some for me.

* Owners were super approachable, conversational, and all-around great people. We talked the entire time I was trying on different suits and getting different accessories.

* Local business - clear to me they absolutely know their stuff inside and out. Great service from start to finish.

* Super reasonable cost for a suit (free tie comes with it) plus adding on a dress shirt.

Being a New Yorker for almost two decades, it's rare to find a business quite like this one. I'm happy I travelled all the way downtown to visit and I'll 100% do it again if I need another suit. Thank you!

Robert and Vivian were so helpful when we visited their store. Glad that we checked them before going to the mall, they have a huge selection of formal attires that you can choose from. Their customer service is so good that we want to get our next suit from them for sure. Such a nice and lovely couple, you can really feel that they love what they are doing. If you have time, please check them out and they'll surely help you with whatever suit you might need in your future events. 10/10

This review is over 3 years late, but New Era is still a special memory!

We landed in NYC and the first thing my boyfriend realized was the very expensive suit he'd purchased to propose to me in was still hanging in his closet in California.

I did some quick googling and found New Era. We beelined there and my boyfriend found the James Bond tux he'd lusted after for about $100. With shoes, socks, tie, shirt, the price was INSANE! Plus, the owners are the sweetest, funniest couple.

Don't let the prices fool you: the day my boyfriend wore this tux, he was stopped CONSTANTLY by men and women telling him how sharp he looked. The quality is fantastic and tailors on the same block can tailor while you wait!

As you can see from pics, my boyfriend went on to propose, and marry me in Paris in his $100 tux from New Era.

The whole experience there feels like stepping back in time to when customer service and quality mattered. We cannot wait to return!
