Our camper trailer broke down 2 hours from Thompson. CAA found a tow truck -Red Septic - that could load it in to a Plat bed. Billy, the driver, called us and asked for pictures of the problem and proceeded to go and buy the necessary parts and then drove out to where we were in the middle of nowhere. He repaired the trailer, assisted us in hooking it back up to our van (we had unhooked it and had it jacked up for him) and then followed us for 30 kms to the #6 junction to make sure fix was good. He missed starting his weekend early as planned and spent 4 hours on the road instead coming out to help us. We are so grateful. Can't really say enough good about Red Septic Towing. They obviously care about motorists that break down in northern Manitoba and need help. Thank you!!!!

After failing to get myself out of the ditch of snow and ice, I asked a friend with a 'strap' to help me get out. The 'strap' snapped in about 30 seconds - it didn't work. (we did this for 30 minutes).

I called Red Septic Service because it showed up as a tow service in Thompson in google - thank God it did. I called the other companies and they were "busy", "moving", "can't do it" -- ok, whatever.

Red Septic Service answered the call and told me in 25 minutes a tow will arrive unless they call back. The weather is bad, I knew it'd be more than 25 mins. So, because the weather was crap, the friendly operator called back and said "we talked to our folks on the road" and "it'll be 1 hour to 1 and a half until he gets out there". (I don't blame Red Septic Service for this - the roads are horrible this day.)

I resigned myself to waiting 1 hour 30, I said "Okay." But I knew they are good and I knew it'll be faster than that... efficient? Yes, Red Septic Service is efficient.

The tow truck arrived under 30 minutes rather than the 1 hour and 30 minute the phone operator said.

The tow truck driver looked at the situation, said "I'm going to do this with my truck and pull you out", I was like... "uh, okay? Do your thing."

Few mins later, I was out.

Good service, good value. The driver is a wonderful person! 🙂

Would be lovely if they had a weekend driver/operator. Come moneday you know they will be there with the service you need. Good folks
