Peter and Bobbie literally saved the day! We had a sink hole in our backyard due to an old septic system and we initially had concern that it was compromising our homes foundation. Peter came out to assess the hole same day and gave us a reasonable quote. They quickly came and removed the old system and filled it. They were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and fast. Even though they were fast, they took their time to do the job the correct way which is hard to find in a company. After the job was finished they thoroughly cleaned up and out down fresh grass seed and hay. I truly can’t thank them enough and will be using them again!

We had the most confidence in Rock Creek Excavation after researching their past work and providing a reasonable quote for our removal of our deck concrete. I knew it was a problem that I could not take on myself.

Peter and his colleague Bobby showed up with their mini caterpillar and dump truck, dug up and hauled away roughly 30 post footers, a short retaining wall and a 1000 lb slab. They worked inches from the house without a scratch. Upon completion, they groomed the worked area. The entire job took less than three hours.

They were very professional, and worked extremely hard to meet our needs. I would reach out to them again if the need fits.

Peter and his crew removed a 65-year-old concrete bottom swimming pool from our back yard that was 60 feet long, 11 feet deep, and difficult to access. Yet, with lots of ingenuity, he was able to bring his gigantic CAT and other machines to the pool without cutting down our mature trees or the Xfinity cable! The process of removal was fascinating. One of the most amazing tools is his crusher that grinds big chunks of concrete into gravel and spits it into the hole. It was unavoidably a disruptive process. Part of the pool was just a few feet from the house. At times, there was lots of noise and lots of dirt dumped on the driveway, perhaps 20 dump truck loads in all. Yet, communication was excellent, not only between Peter and us, but also with the other crew members, Luis and Bobby. It took about three weeks to complete. The new surface was graded beautifully, the residual dirt on the driveway has disappeared , grass seed and hay have been laid down, and my neighbors are already calling it a distant memory! I wholeheartedly recommend Rock Creek Excavations, and am happy to provide a recommendation for the company.

I strongly recommend Peter and Rock Creek Excavation. Here is why:
My pool had been an eyesore for several years and I wanted it gone. I contacted Rock Creek, and immediately felt comfortable with Peter, the owner, who came out to do the estimate. He made suggestions on how I could get the job done economically while not sacrificing quality. His pricing was very fair. The other companies that came out to provide estimates were very slick and seemed to do a hard sell. I immediately felt more comfortable with Peter and felt he was trustworthy.
Throughout the job, Peter was responsive to my texts and kept me updated on any changes or delays (machine maintenance, weather, etc.). He did most of the work himself, rather than sub-contracting it out, thereby ensuring its integrity. Peter clearly prides himself on providing high quality workmanship and did not attempt to cut corners in order to limit costs when the job became a bit more complicated. Finally, he really went above and beyond by helping me with some additional home maintenance needs, because he is obviously just a good guy. This level of customer service was unexpected, yet so appreciated.
With all that said- the job is now done and my property looks great! Pool What pool!!
